Will I get enough work?
Although we cannot guarantee hours, ANA are one of the busiest care providers in Staffordshire, and consistently supply our dedicated team with the regular and varied shifts they request.
Do I need transport?
It would be advantageous as come clients are not always situated within reach of the local transport network but we do have a high level of business within Stoke-on-Trent.
Is there any age limit?
Unfortunately yes. Due to the new regulations (Care Standards Act 2000) you must be at least 18 years of age before you can deliver personal care.
Do I need experience?
No, we offer a comprehensive two week introduction to care course for applicants who match our criteria.
Do you have work in local NHS hospitals?
Yes, we are a preferred supplier to all NHS hospitals and Combined healthcare Trusts within the Staffordshire and West Midlands area.
Do your staff meet the current N.C.S.C standards?
Yes, all staff are fully reference checked, are up to date with mandatory training requirements, renewed PIN numbers (qualified staff) and undergo an enhanced disclosure . Care staff are currently NVQ2 or working towards and are reviewed every six months.
What are your charge rates?
Being an independent family run business trading solely for the last ten years, our rates are amongst the most competitive in the care industry sector and are freely available on request.
How do I know the right person will be selected for my residents needs?
Due to our strict screening and training procedures and by actually talking and listening to our clients individual needs you can be safe in the knowledge that our placement officers will always do their utmost to select the right nurse or carer to deliver a high standard of care.
Can you be contacted out of hours?
Yes, we provide a 24 hour on-call service 7 days a week throughout the year.
